Cut a 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 white card and following the directions on the package, stencil the Infinite Petals in your chosen colors. Cut a slightly larger black card to border the stenciled image. Glue together and then glue to the center of the card base. Die cut a larger banner flag out of vellum. Die cut a smaller banner flag out of white card. Stamp white banner with sentiment in black ink and sprinkle with embossing powder, heat. Cut desired length of embroidery floss and twist, adhering to the back of the white card. Adhere the white banner to the vellum banner and adhere to card front.
TIP: The white banner should be affixed to the vellum banner with foam tape. However, I wasn’t thinking and glued them together, producing that “bump” where the floss is attached. By the time I realized what I had done, it was stuck enough that it started to rip when I tried to correct the problem. It would look much better with foam tape!
