Happy Mother’s Day

Card Size:  6 1/2″ x 5″

Rubber Stamp:  Stampabilities “Woodgrain Background”

Tools:  Lifestyle Crafts “Nesting Squares”, C.C. Designs “Fence Border”, gray chalk, black ink pen, gray ink pad, quilling tools, paper, glue, pop dots, score board

I cut two “boards” off of the fence border and scored at 1/8″ 3 times between each pointed board and folded along score marks to give dimension.  The fence die was stamped with the woodgrain stamp in gray to give a “white picket fence” look. I used the black ink pen to highlight the “nails”; it was then affixed with pop dots.  The “window” was achieved by cutting out the front of a white card base 4 times with a one inch square.  Gray chalk was used to give dimension to the “building”.  A green card was attached to the inside of the card front with pop dots.

The quilled tulips were created by rolling two 8″ lengths of quiling paper into marquis shapes, curving the points.  The stems were created with 2-3″ green quilling paper.
